My family and I immigrated from Bavaria Germany in 1957. None of us spoke English which presented a real challenge. It was tough when I entered high school not knowing the language. I graduated three years later and joined the U.S. Navy stationed at Pearl Harbor. We sailed to Asia, Samoa, and of course all the Hawaiian Islands.
After the service I entered the University of Colorado at Boulder. Later in my life I became a law enforcement instructor after I graduated at the University of Indiana.
After retirement I began writing my book “A Bridge to Cross.”
Currently I am writing another manuscript and hope to have it written by the end of this year.
My wife and I love to travel which took us to Europe numerous times. We also traveled to Mexico and Canada.
